Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not - James 4:2

Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people) - Ephesians 6:18 (AMP)

Thou art my battle ax and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; and with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider, - Jeremiah 51:20-21

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shallfind; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” - Matthew 7:7

What a directive Jesus gave! Ask (crave, desire strongly) and it will be given to you; seek (search) and you will find; knock (be persistent) and it shall be opened to you.

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my Name, he will give it you” (John 16:23).
