Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field - Zechariah 10:1

In this passage, we are told that in the time God is pouring out His Holy Spirit in the earth, we are to ask Him to touch our lives so that we wold be refreshed and revived spiritually.  Isaiah 60:1-2 says:

"O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle" - Psalm 140:7

"I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night:  ye that make mention of the lord, keep not silence" - Isaiah 62:6

During biblical times, cities were surrounded by walls for protection.  The watchmen were stationed upon the walls to stand guard and keep watch for predators and enemies.  When the watchmen saw an enemy approaching, they would cry out to alert the citizens.  Then the people could prepare to effectively defend themselves and their city.

"I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Wait on the Lord:  be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.  Wait, I say, on the Lord." - Psalm 27-13-14

"And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any:  that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses" - Mark 11:25
